Who Needs DDoS Protection Most

What DDoS protection doesn't cover
Network-level DDoS mitigation protects against traffic floods aimed at overwhelming bandwidth or connections. It does not replace application-level security practices — SQL injection prevention, authentication hardening, or rate-limiting specific endpoints (like login forms or search) against abuse, which remain your responsibility as the site/application owner, with root access on VPS giving you the tools to implement them.
