Refund & cancellation policy

Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all purchases made on www.hoststack.pro and its client portal at client.hoststack.pro, operated by Hoststack.pro, Bramapur Nath Para, Kolkata, South 24 Parganas 700084, India.
By placing an order or activating a service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.
General no-refund policy
All fees paid to Hoststack.pro are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- Monthly and annual hosting subscription fees
- Setup fees and one-time activation charges
- Domain registration, renewal, and transfer fees
- SSL certificate fees
- Add-on services (dedicated IPs, extra storage, migrations, etc.)
- Partial months unused after cancellation
Services are provisioned immediately upon payment confirmation. Because we begin delivering the service at the point of purchase—and the costs of provisioning, bandwidth, and storage are incurred from day one—we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind, underuse, or dissatisfaction once a service has been activated.
Exceptions
A full or partial refund may be considered solely at Hoststack.pro's discretion in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same order due to a payment gateway error. We will refund the duplicate amount once verified.
- Service not delivered: We were unable to activate or provision your service within 7 business days of payment and you request cancellation before activation.
- Statutory right: Applicable Indian consumer protection law grants you a specific remedy that overrides this policy.
All exception requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 7 days of the transaction date, accompanied by your invoice number and a description of the issue.
Cancellation
You may cancel your hosting service at any time through the client portal at client.hoststack.pro or by emailing [email protected].
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refund is issued for the remaining days of the current billing period.
- Annual plans cancelled before their renewal date do not receive a pro-rata refund for unused months.
- After cancellation, your account data and files will be retained for a grace period of 7 days, after which they will be permanently deleted. You are responsible for downloading your own backups before the grace period expires.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your hosting account.
- Report the disputed amount as an outstanding debt.
- Block future account creation from associated details.
We encourage you to contact us first—most billing issues are resolved quickly and amicably.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds (under the exceptions above) are processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing timelines depend on your bank or payment provider and are outside our control.
