Business Email Hosting Overview
Hoststack Business Email gives you a professional inbox at your own domain — like [email protected] — instead of a free @gmail.com address. It's a standalone product, so it works whether your website is hosted with us or elsewhere.
What's included
- Mailboxes on your own domain, sized from 5GB to 50GB depending on plan
- Full-featured webmail (Roundcube) accessible from any browser
- IMAP/SMTP for Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird and mobile mail apps
- Spam and virus filtering on every incoming message
- Aliases, forwarders and autoresponders managed from the client area
- Hosted on our Mumbai data center for low-latency delivery within India
Getting set up
After you order Business Email, we provision your mailboxes and email you the MX record values to add at your domain registrar (or we set them automatically if your domain already uses Hoststack nameservers). Once MX records propagate — usually within a few hours — mail starts flowing to your new mailbox instead of anywhere else.
- Log in to webmail at webmail.yourdomain.com
- Use the IMAP/SMTP host and port details from your welcome email to configure Outlook or a phone mail app
- Add extra mailboxes, aliases or a catch-all address any time from the client area
Business Email vs. shared hosting mail
Shared hosting plans include basic email accounts on the same server as your website, sharing its resources. Business Email is a dedicated mail platform tuned purely for deliverability and mailbox storage, so it's a better fit if email volume is high, you need larger mailboxes, or your website is hosted elsewhere entirely. All Business Email plans include GST invoices for easy expense claims.
