Windows VPS Overview
A Windows VPS gives you a full Windows Server environment with administrator access, dedicated resources, and the freedom to install any software your project needs — without sharing an OS instance with other customers.
What's included
- Genuine licensed Windows Server (2019/2022) with full administrator access
- Dedicated vCPU, RAM and SSD/NVMe storage, not shared with other tenants
- Optional Plesk license for a control panel, or manage everything directly via RDP
- Mumbai data center location for low-latency access from India
Connecting via RDP
Your welcome email includes the server's IP address, administrator username and password. On Windows, open Remote Desktop Connection, enter the IP address, and log in with those credentials. On Mac or Linux, use a free RDP client such as Microsoft Remote Desktop or Remmina. Change the administrator password immediately after your first login.
Common use cases
- Hosting ASP.NET or .NET Core applications with full IIS control
- Running Windows-only desktop software remotely (accounting tools, licensing servers, trading bots)
- Development and testing environments that mirror a Windows production setup
- Running MSSQL Server directly for line-of-business applications
Windows VPS vs. Windows shared hosting
Windows shared hosting (via Plesk) is simpler and cheaper if you're hosting a standard ASP.NET website. A Windows VPS makes sense once you need administrator rights to install custom software, run background services, open non-standard ports, or need guaranteed resources that aren't shared with anyone else.
